A bit about me

Two years ago all I could see was injustice and I was angry. The way we were treating the environment, the way companies treated their employees and the way corporations dealt with their customers.

The only way I knew of releasing that emotion and maybe doing something about it was to write, I started a website and blog. Through that I’ve met many interesting people, I’ve ranted, oh yes I’ve ranted and to some small degree I hope it’s made a difference, but it’s not enough. For a few months I’ve drifted, still blogging, but unsure about the difference I was making and then along came ‘little big voice’.

My thoughts on the weekend

The ‘little big voice’ weekend, not just the lecturers, but the whole weekend, was a huge inspiration, probably one of the most inspiring events in my life. The lecturers showed me there was so much more I could do – we can all do. The other attendees showed me I wasn’t alone in my frustration and my passion. We were lucky, the weather was great, the site was beautiful, but what made the weekend was the people.

The most important thing I learnt is ‘it doesn’t matter what you do – do something’, it might not be the best but it’s certainly better than doing nothing.

If you didn’t have the chance to attend please listen to the podcasts, I’m sure you’ll be inspired. To the guys at Howies, the lectures and my fellow attendees – Thank you and keep in touch.
