A bit about me
I'm in my last year studying english at leeds uni. I initially got involved in campaigning through the student group "people & planet", but more recently I've been grappling with union politics, lobbying the uni to reduce its environmental impact, and trying to encourage students to make their voice heard in how their union should be run. It feels kind of important because if students realize now that what they think and how they vote & stuff actually makes a difference, it'll last... Other than all that geeky stuff, I'm looking forward to a nice chilled summer, and then? who knows...
My thoughts on the weekend
I came looking for fresh ideas on how to make campaigns less like "campaigns", but more accessible and enticing, and found lots - but more importantly just ended up fizzing with inspiration...
