A bit about me

Hi,

I'm a student at Brighton University. I study graphic design and I'm in my second year - it's amazing!

I study graphic design because I am passionate about communicating with others, and believe that it will be good communication that solves a good chunk of today's problems.

I love sports, in particular cycling - I ride downhill, freeride, street, dirt jumping and xc. I found an old Reynolds tubing road bike so I'll be riding that when it's restored. Riding bikes is so logical - zero carbon footprint, accessible form of fitness to all, and great fun.

I also like smoothies, simple, clever ideas, dogs, frisbee, beaches, music and Spanish Omelettes.

My thoughts on the weekend

The Little Big Voice weekend was the most inspiring thing I've done this year - I left feeling totally buzzing.

I did a placement with howies the summer before, and I got wind of it then. Seeing it in a material form as opposed to just a bunch of good ideas on the horizon was brilliant.

And that's kind of the main thing I gained from the weekend - you can think and think and think about something all you like, but actually doing something is what counts. Even if you make mistakes. In fact, making mistakes is crucial.

"Dick Dastardly was right. Don't just stand there, do something."

So simple, yet so true. I think events like LBV would benefit everyone, and would strongly recommend attending one if you get the chance...
